The pre‑concert picnic experience in the East Front Gardens is one of the most loved parts of Hampton Court Palace Festival. To help preserve this, the Wine and Champagne Corkage Pass will once again be in place for 2026.
One pass is required per booking (covering up to 10 people) and allows each guest to bring one bottle of champagne or wine to enjoy with their picnic in the Gardens. Please note that beers, spirits and other alcoholic drinks are not permitted.
Guests are welcome to bring picnic food, soft drinks and water, and we encourage avoiding single‑use plastics where possible. A wide selection of drinks will also be available from our Festival Bars, along with free water refill stations on the East Front.
Please note:
- The Corkage Pass applies to the East Front Gardens only
- No drinks are permitted inside the Palace
The Wine and Champagne Corkage Pass costs £15.32 per booking when purchased online in advance, or £20 per booking if purchased on the day.
By maintaining the Corkage Pass, we can support our Responsible Drinking Policy, manage rising production costs, and run a more sustainable festival—while continuing to offer the unique experience of enjoying your own champagne or wine in this historic setting.
